To whom it may concern,

My name is Jennifer Peterson Rau.  I am currently finishing my Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology.  As well, I currently hold two Associates degrees with my Bachelors.  My first is in Culinary Arts and my second is Hotel Restaurant Management. My Bachelor of Arts however, is in Social Science with an Education Concentration.

With the knowledge on how to create an exceptional education for my learners, I aim to reach all my students regardless of their learning styles.  Creating lessons that not only inform but also engage my learners is my goal each day.  While teaching on-line I also aspire to connect with each of my learners supplying them with supplemental information and support when they need it.  Engaging and challenging my learners will in turn create educators that do the same for their students.  By creating an atmosphere, which encourages peer-to-peer discussions it will also engage my learners in critical thinking exercises that permit them to see the real world application of their lesson. 

By joining forces with a dedicated school, I can educate my learners on all the theories of education and the best practices for educating each learning style, while utilizing those practices myself.  Through your school, I can educate the new wave of educators whom will assist in the transformation of our educational system.  These learners will then produce well-educated knowledgeable students whom will be ready for the today’s workforce.
